I wouldn’t say that Athens is a skyscraper kind of city with wide streets and crowded sidewalks. It is more like a regular European capital city, that has endured through time and many conquerors. Numerous things have changed but I love how we manage to preserve old buildings from the Classical Greece. Centuries ago historical monuments were hosting knowledge and wisdom – and few of them still are. The classical period is a stage of establishing foundations and setting up the basics in order to develop and expand new ideas, beliefs and theories.
It may seem weird but the same thing happens with fashion. There are basical foundations on how we dress, combine and accesorise. But through decades of changing and evolving clothes and trends, we should conform with new styles and embrase our individuality. To optimise my point, I chose to mix a classic dark blue suit and brown brogues with my favorite – and colorful – backpack by Sprayground and playful socks. This particular colorful feather-printed backpack has wings! Sprayground is all about alternative ideas and funky attitude! Basic gone wild! Be free to express your weirdness through what you wear – do not take it too far though! 😛
